She's Finally Here!

Lucy Charlotte Peterson arrived Saturday, March 15 at 12:11 pm. Jamie's doctor had vacation plans for the following week, so he offered to induce her on Saturday. They started the pitosin at 10:30, Jamie was dilated to an 8 within an hour, and the labor went so quickly that the anesthesiologist didn't have time to give her the epidural. It wasn't a planned natural labor and delivery, but Jamie is super-tough and came through like a champ.

We are so happy that Lucy is here - she is so sweet and beautiful. The other kids have been wonderful with her so far.

Here are some photos:

Jamie, isn't it wonderful to go natural - I'll never go back to epidurals. Great job!

Woo hoo!! I have been waiting for pictures. Lucy is beautiful. And look at your adorable family. You guys are so blessed. Wish I was there to take the kids or bring a meal. Way to bond with the women of time with the not so planned natural child birth. You are amazing... we love and miss you guys! Get some rest :)

Lucy is so cute, congratulations!! I know I am a little late, but I just found out you all had blogs.
I feel so out of the loop out here and I am excited to come back if only for a year to good old Idaho. I can't say I am looking foward to the winter, but at least it is cold with snow rather than just cold like Illinois!

I hope to see you all in Idaho at Darci's wedding but if not we will be moving back in August. :) Oh and we just started a blog check it out. Beardsblog.com
